If you're spotted you'll be shot with something that will obliterate a huge chunk of your health bar. The room here is distorted in a similar manner to the hall, making things annoyingly woozy. When it ends you'll be up against some goons. When you reach the end a cutscene will trigger. Make your way down, it being careful to avoid the steam jets that shoot out of the walls/floors. Once you've picked the right door you'll drop into a contorted hallway. If you die, you'll respawn in the same place. Look for the door with the fastest eyes to spot the right one. If you pick the wrong one you'll take damage. You'll enter a room ringed with clown doors.

When you've rescued all three civilians they'll help open up the clown door at the end of the area. Fireworks will fire off periodically and can expose you if you're not careful. Try not to stay out in the open for too long. Work your way through area from hostage to hostage, dispatching goons as you go. Extracting them to a safe zone is only required for the last hostage.

Goblin will flee into another clown head at the end of the area, leaving you to rescue some more civilians and sneak through another pack of goons. Exit and proceed up the stairs into the stairs. It will be pitch black in the tent so turn on your spider sense. Defeat them and Goblin will attack you, resulting in another brief third person bout. When they turn back on you'll be attacked by a large group of goons. Chase after him and you'll find up inside a circus tent. Dodge his attacks and counter until he lets you go and runs off. When the cutscene ends you'll be in a first person fight with Goblin. When you near it a cutscene will trigger. Head to the creepy looking clown face toward the end of the area. After you rescue the hostages Goblin will shut off all the lights in the Carnival.
